Channel 4 Documentary
As part of our continued commitment to highlight the
impact of repossession, and further to
our appearance on BBC News 24, we are currently helping
Silver River Productions to create a documentary about
repossession for Channel 4.
We need a small number of people who have been
affected by repossession who are
willing to be interviewed for this programme.
Although more and more people are getting on the
property ladder, the documentary would like to
counter-balance the argument for buying your own home by
highlighting the potential risks involved in doing so.
Therefore, we would like to speak to anyone who has had
their home repossessed, is under threat of repossession,
or who has indeed has come back from potential
repossession and could give us their perspective on
this.
The aim is not to make anyone look irresponsible, nor is
it poking fun at the situation - very simply we want to
demonstrate to the viewers the downside of being a
homeowner, and how it can go very wrong, very quickly.
